Threads of the Process: Who is Drawn to the Work and Care

March 23, 2023 Posted by Dr Adam Fujita Uncategorized

Sounding ironical
Coming from the introvert,

At the heart of this all, is the connection to people.

We each have our unique stories that have unfolded for us throughout the years.

Within those stories,
We find many common themes and overlapping chapters

That reveal us to others,
Others to us,
And most importantly,
Us to ourselves.

Within the following,
You will find many threads we all share
That interweave and overlap,
That create and establish this community
Of who The Process is for –

For those who are tired of a healthcare system that does not provide them with any tools to help take care of themselves, or sustain resilient health after a course of care; leaving them trapped in a loop with a system dependency on illness and pain.

For those that intrinsically shoulder the responsibility to take care of their health.
To actively seek truer ways of staying healthy and becoming healthier.

For those that participate in an active lifestyle,
And want to protect and
Make better that very lifestyle.

For those that are frustrated by traditional care that waits for an injury to access care,
Or corporate limitations that only allow practitioners to provide partial care.

When success fails you,
Or you fail getting to what people call ‘success’.

For those that climbed to the pinnacle of their physical performance,
And lost the light,
And lost the joy,
Due to the mounting pain or emptiness of a finish line.

For those that battle to sustain a training season,
Not making their paces or distances,
And are unable to connect to the joy it used to be.

For those that know how movement frees them,
How time outdoors connects them,
And for those that will do everything to honor, protect, and add to the longevity of that gift.

For those who know that the struggle is far more than physical.

For those that are working on healthier days.
No, not the false slender appearance or reverence Boston Marathon speeds as an idol –
But for those that are deeply learning that they are worth caring for –
Regardless of pace or distance.

For those who need their story to be heard, understood, and held with care,
Instead of brushed over, tossed to the side, or ignored completely because practitioners are too focused on their preconceived notions, diagnostic forgone conclusions, regardless of what you bring to the table.

For those who struggle to even see a possibility of a path towards better,
Overwhelmed by the seemingly endless amount of steps to get there –
But welcome the space-holding and help to look for that first next step –
As small as it needs to be.

For those that find themselves in one or many of those above mentioned instances,

I have found a way to deliver what you are looking for,
Speak into your story,
And teach you,
Work with you,
On what best fits your best next step.

In turn, you provide me what I am looking for:

Someone that is interested in what I enjoy teaching and sharing.

You are a part of the community that this introvert comes alive in –
And will chat your ear off,
Coaching you through,
Endlessly working to teach these concepts
So you can keep hold of them,
And use them to make yourself better,
For today and tomorrow’s tomorrow.

I will give you my very best,
As you will not find any other practitioner who will teach you better than I.
